Senior Client Advisor
Markus Sevcik, Executive Director, has been at J.P.Morgan Asset Management since August 2011, responsible for Austrian clients. He studied wealth management and marketing in Wr. Neustadt and Mexico and also completed a master's degree in Latin American Studies at the University of Vienna. In 2009 he obtained the diploma as European Financial Advisor with distinction. In 2006 he started his professional career at Sparkasse. Afterwards he joined Erste Private Banking in the wealth management department, responsible for looking after HNWI. In 2011 he moved to J.P.Morgan Asset Management with sales responsibility for the retail and wholesale area in Austria.

Andreas Lessmann, Senior Client Advisor, is part of the sales team in Vienna. He previously worked at Fidelity Worldwide Investment in Vienna as Sales Director and looked after institutional investors and private banks in Austria. Before that, he was responsible for sales at other asset management companies in Austria as well as in some other market regions. The Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) began his career at Creditanstalt-Bankverein, where he initially worked as an account manager in Vienna and later managed branches in Warsaw and Wroclaw.
Senior Client Advisor
George Juscsak, Executive Director, is a Senior Sales Executive for J.P. Morgan. He has 20 years of experience working in the financial markets and in the banking industry in the United States and internationally. In his current role he is responsible for- and oversees the sales activities for J.P. Morgan Asset Management in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia. He is based in Vienna, Austria. Prior to joining the European operations he worked on Wall Street as part of the J.P. Morgan Investment Bank. In his role as Vice President he was a member of the Portfolio Strategies Group on the Fixed Income and Rates Products desk, working with various US and international institutional investors. Before J.P. Morgan he worked for Bear Stearns in New York in a similar role, and in the Capital Markets Department of AmTrust Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. George earned his MBA at the Case Western University, holds a CPA, Series 7 and 63 degrees and pursuing his PhD degree. He is a Honorary Professor at SZIE, and member of the MSc in Finance Advisory Committee of the Central European University.

Sabine Stahl, Executive Director, is head of the Wholesale Sales team in Frankfurt. She and her team cover large German clients like funds of funds, large and private banks, multi-family offices and insurance companies. Before joining J.P.Morgan Asset Management in 2004, Sabine worked at HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt in portfolio strategy where she was responsible for bond and fund research as well as for the implementation of asset management strategies in private banking. Sabine Stahl has a degree in business administration (BA) and is a CAIA charterholder.

Matthias Schulz, Managing Director, has been a Senior Client Advisor for J.P.Morgan Asset Management since April 2008. Located in Stuttgart he is responsible for regional bank sales in southern Germany. Prior to that, Matthias Schulz was head of department for three sales teams in asset customer care at Stuttgarter Volksbank AG. He had already worked there in asset management since 2000. The business economist (BA) started his career in 1997 as consultant for wealthy private customers at Cannstatter Volksbank AG. Matthias Schulz holds an MBA in Finance & Management from the Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Economics and Environment (HfWU).

Alessandro Svensson, Managing Director, is the country head for the Nordic region. Alessandro joined the organization 2003 to build out the Swedish business. Before joining JPMorgan, Alessandro worked in Institutional sales for two years. Prior to that, he worked as a Investment Manager at iAM Capital for 7 years. Alessandro attended the Investment Management Program at LBS.
Head of Distribution, France
Stéphane Vonthron, Executive Director, is the Head of sales for Distribution in France. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management in 2015, he was sales at La Financiere de l’Echiquier, consecutively in charge of retail distribution, and institutional investors, and head of wholesale distribution. Stephane holds a degree from ESC Reims and is a member of the CFA Society.
Global Market Strategist
Vincent Juvyns, Executive Director, is a Global Market Strategist responsible for providing clients in Benelux, France and Geneva with market and economic analysis through our Market Insights programme. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Vincent was a research analyst with ING Investment Management’s multi-asset group, where he conducted fundamental research and communicated the group’s strategy to clients and the press. He then served as a CPM, and later, as a portfolio manager, in ING’s fixed income department. Vincent holds a master’s degree in Business and Financial Sciences from ICHEC Business school in Brussels.

Nicolas Deblauwe, managing director, is the country head for the Benelux region and France. Nicolas joined the organization in 1997 as head of Sales for Belgium and Luxembourg. Before joining JPMorgan, Nicolas worked as head of Institutional Sales at Petercam, for four years. Prior to that, he worked as a private banker at Bank Dewaay. Nicolas holds a degree in Economics from Gent University and an MBA from Brussels University.
Chief Market Strategist, EMEA
Karen Ward, Managing Director, is the Chief Market Strategist for EMEA at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Karen has considerable experience in both public policymaking, and economic and financial analysis. Before joining the team in 2017, she was Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers for the Chancellor of the Exchequer. In this role she advised the Chancellor on macroeconomic issues including fiscal strategy and Brexit. Prior to this she worked for a decade at HSBC’s investment bank in a number of roles, including Senior Global Economist where her work included “The World in 2050 – An Analysis of the Structural Changes Affecting the Global Economy and the Rise of the Emerging Economies.” She was Chief European Economist before leaving to work for the Chancellor in 2016. She started her career at the Bank of England providing supporting analysis for the Monetary Policy Committee. Karen has a Masters with Distinction in Economics from University College London.

Jennifer Wu, Managing Director, is responsible for leading the firm-wide strategic efforts in building a global sustainable investing platform through continued ESG integration, research and thought leadership, investment stewardship, and development of innovative strategies. She also leads the Sustainable Investing Leadership Team (SILT), a global team of senior leaders focused on sharing best practices for sustainable investing across asset classes.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Jennifer was responsible for leading the effort of creating innovative investment solutions and analytics at BlackRock’s Sustainable Investing team. Previously, Jennifer was BlackRock’s Head of Corporate Strategy & Development for Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2014, Jennifer worked for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the energy sector of the Central and West Asia Department and was responsible for project finance across power infrastructures and country-level energy sector reforms. Before ADB she served as Managing Director in the Strategic Development Group of CLSA Limited responsible for acquisitions and strategic partnerships in Asia-Pacific and Europe. Jennifer started her career in venture capital and private equity focusing on technology and renewable energy as a research analyst and subsequently a portfolio manager.

Bob Michele, Managing Director, is the Chief Investment Officer and Head of the Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities group. Bob is a member of the Asset & Wealth Management Investment Committee, the Asset & Wealth Management Operating Committee and the Asset Management Operating Committee. He also chairs the GFICC Investment Strategy Committee and the GFICC Operating Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Bob was at Schroder Investment Management for 10 years, most recently serving as the Global Head of Fixed Income in London. Previously, Bob was a managing director at BlackRock from 1995 to 1998, responsible for managing core bond portfolios and developing credit strategies across all client mandates. Prior to that, he was at FirstBoston Asset Management as head of the company's US fixed income business. Bob began his career at Bankers Trust Company and Brown Brothers Harriman. He holds a BA in Classics from the University of Pennsylvania, is a CFA charterholder and has the Investment Management Certificate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals.
Global Head, Alternatives
Anton Pil, Managing Director, manages J.P. Morgan Highbridge Global Alternatives. With over $100 billion in alternative assets under management, this group manages assets across real estate, private equity, hedge funds, and liquid alternatives. Anton has held a variety of leadership roles at J.P. Morgan over the last two decades. He most recently headed the private bank’s Global Investment Opportunities Group (GIO), a niche group working with some of the firm’s most sophisticated clients interested in opportunistic absolute return investing across public and private markets. Prior to becoming Head of GIO in 2008, Pil was Head of Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities for Wealth Management, where he was responsible for investment ideas and the development of portfolio management, brokerage and funds. He also led the development and expansion of the private bank’s real estate lending business. Prior to this, he was head trader for Investment Management’s Global Fixed Income group and has managed European equity, emerging market debt and global high yield funds. Anton began his career at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in the Capital Markets Research team, where he specialised in modelling public and private real estate mortgages and providing complex fixed income securities analytics. Pil holds BS, MS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in Control Theory, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Paul Quinsee, Managing Director, is the Global Head of Equities for J.P. Morgan Asset Management. He was previously the Chief Investment Officer for U.S. Equities, a role that he assumed in 2003.
An employee since 1992, Paul joined the U.S. Equity team in 2001 and was a portfolio manager and client portfolio manager in J.P. Morgan's Global Equity Team, based in London and New York. Before joining the Firm, Paul spent five years as an equity portfolio manager with Citibank and two years with Schroder Capital Management in London.
Paul obtained a B.A. from the University of Durham in the UK.
Head of International Portfolio Management Team, Multi-Asset Solutions
Katy Thorneycroft, managing director, leads Multi-Asset Solutions' International Portfolio Management team, focusing on multi-strategy investing, including benchmark oriented, flexible and total return strategies, as well as funds of investment trusts. An employee since 1999, Katy was previously a portfolio manager in the convertible bonds team and a member of the Multi-Asset Solutions team in New York. Prior to this, Katy was a portfolio manager in the European Equity group in London focusing on small and mid-cap strategies. Katy obtained a M.Chem. from the University of Oxford and is a CFA charterholder.
